1. Write short answers of the following questions. (15) 
(i) What is Keats's concept of Negative Capabiligy? 
(ii) There is always a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" in the portrayal of supernaturalism. Justify it with reference to the poem Kubla Khan by S.T. Colleridge. 
(iii) In "Hymn to Intellectual Beauty" Shelley describes this world as a "dim vat vale of tear, vacant and desolates." Discuss.

2. Answer the following questions in detail. (45) 
(i) Compare Shelley and Keats in their use of imagery. 
(ii) "In the best of Shelley's poetry, there is a splendor of movement and realization of visionary intensity". Is this true of Shelley's poems you have read? 
(iii) Discuss William Balke as a mystical poet.
